The short answer is that it’s entirely up to you. Many brides will begin their search for the perfect gown a year to nine months before the big day, but if you have more time there’s no reason why you can’t start earlier than that. Keep in mind that it can take up to 6 months for your dress to come in and you must also keep some time for alterations.

We recommend ordering your bridesmaids gowns no later than 5 months before the wedding. These gowns take 3 months to made and we still need time for shipping and alterations.
